“Well, it looks like you’ve managed to screw things up again Harvey.”

“What do you mean George?”

“Even though I helped you pick out some fierce tattoos, killer street wear, and that sweet hat you’re wearing—you managed to find a way to accessorize yourself into stupidity! We’ll never get taken seriously at this rate. No one is going to think we look tough at all!”

“Aw George, don’t you go and say that. I wasn’t sure about the tattoos you told me to get, ‘cause I’m already a big guy, but now I look really tough. Look, I even wore my bad cowboy [...]

[...] boots today! Only real mean men wear those George.”

“Don’t even get me started on those stupid, sissy boots of yours. There is nothing about a pair of boots that says ‘bandit.’ At least you had the sense to wear the brass knuckles that I gave you.”

“Yeah George! I feel so tough wearing them. I bet I can punch people twice as hard now. Oh! I brought a mean animal with me too, just like you asked. He’s the meanest thing I could find.”

*Squawk!*

“You brought the parrot, again? Harvey, how many times do I have to tell you that having a parrot doesn’t make you tough, mean, or any of the other things we talked about?”

“But you said he made us look tough when we were trying to be pirates. He’s even tougher and meaner now. See, I even taught him how to smoke a pipe. Smoking makes him look like a really, really bad parrot. Doesn’t it George?”

“I told you never to mention the pirate thing again, didn’t I Harvey. The pirate thing was a bad idea from the start, and we agreed we wouldn’t talk about it, didn’t we? We aren’t pirates anymore, you hear? We are bandits now! In it for the money!”

“Yeah I know George. I know we’re bandits now. In it for love and money and..and stuff! And don’t be too hard on the parrot. I just thought we could still give my little friend a home. Hey! He can be a bandit too! We just have to give him a costume, like ours. Then people will take him seriously too, just like us! Here, I’ll let him hold the gun you gave me. See? He looks tougher already.”

“We aren’t in it for love and money. We’re going to be bad men for the money. Just the money, got it? And giving the parrot a gun doesn’t make him any tougher Harvey! What are you thinking? Do you see me handing my knife to the dog?”

“No George. I don’t see you handing the knife to the dog.”

“And why do you suppose that is Harvey?”

“Because we bored him to sleep again?”

“Is that dog snoring again? *SIGH* Maybe we need to try being ninjas for a while.”
