Willy, we have a problem

In yet another, now seemingly related, incident, a whaler that was on a hunting expedition in the Atlantic Ocean has sunk without a trace after an unprovoked attack by a single killer whale. The sinking will be the fourth reported incident to have taken place in a single month.

Organizers of these expeditions are now finding it hard to find volunteers to man any forthcoming projects, as they say that most sailors fear that they will meet the same as the crew of the SS Whaler who were finally found frozen to death on a floating ice reef some 1200 nautical miles off the coast of Iceland. [...] Survivors of previous failed expeditions say that while the whales (or whale) in question have never attacked the human crew on board these vessels, they have ingeniously destroyed ships larger more than four times their own size.

One survivor even claimed to have seen a faint outline of a person standing on top of a reef with an outstretched hand, but these assertions remained unverified. The survivor, a Mr John Mackey, told a local newspaper that the person in question must have been no taller than a twelve year old boy and that he could have sworn he heard a faint cry that went, “Here Willy…”

All survivors are currently receiving trauma counseling, except the vocal survivor who refused treatment and was last seeing renting out all four Free Wily movies at the local Blockbuster.
