*DING!*
And there it goes and the fight has begun! A couple of quick hops and weaves from the champ and—ooooo! The challenger is sent to the mat by a fast tail swing from Jack! “Killer Koala” looks a little dazed but he’s up and back on his feet just as fast as he went down! He has a look of fierceness about him I wouldn’t have expected, I guess Koala isn’t as slow and cute as we were lead to believe.
He’s making some chewing motions, and it looks like Koala is going to try out his signature ankle biting technique. That same technique has brought him victory in many fights, but it’s surprising to see him attempt it so early on. If Jack isn’t careful, those little teeth of Koala’s could do some damage. Or, more likely, really annoy him. The fighters look to be taking a few quick test jabs at each other to feel out the other’s weaknesses, but nothing more. It looks like most of the excitement is over for this round. Only a few seconds remain and—
OH MY GOODNESS! Did you see that? I mean did you really see that? What just happened is simply incredible folks! I know that some of you weren’t able to see what “Killer” did due to his height, but Koala just made his move in a big way! The ankle biting was merely a fake out and “Killer” Koala has delivered an incredible blow here in the first round!
Jack Aroo is not getting up from the mat and the referee is starting the count! Despite the fast and fancy footwork of the champ, “Jumping” Jack is down and the referee is only three away from calling this fight for “Killer” Koala—and there he goes!
It’s official! Koala is the new world champion of fuzzy boxing! The “Killer” delivered a powerful uppercut so fast and hard, it’s like he rocketed himself off the ground! For one lucky fan though, it has gotten even better! For those of you watching on your T.V.’s at home, the slow-motion replay of the punch shows the now former champ taking the full force of the blow on the right side of his jaw as he crouches down to protect himself against what he thought was going to be an ankle biting.
Now, we’re going to slow down the playback even more here so you can see as the mouth guard goes flying off into the audience and that lucky little boy in the first row caught it. The kid better keep that moist little trinket as a future heirloom, because people will be talking about this fight for years to come! The day “Killer” Koala out jumped a kangaroo!
