Adelita

T shirt designed by - Walmazan

300? More like 30!

So here’s why we think that if King Leonidus had stayed at home and let his wife march on into battle with female warriors a la Adelitas, the Spartans would have won the war that day.

1. They’d have asked for directions

2. 300? They’d probably need only 30 strong lasses with awesome negotiating skills

3. They’d have fought better knowing that they would have a better meal at night, other than dead pig on a stick

4. They wouldn’t be keeping count of the number of [...]

You'll like these too!!

[...] Persians they had slain. It’s only the men who are trophy-hungry

5. They would have put more energy into actual combat than into war cries

6. They’d have used enchiladas to lure the enemy in

7. They’d have their feminine wiles to fall back on

8. They’d have seen right through that ugly double crosser

9. They’d have done a better job of convincing the priests guarding the Oracle

10. They’d have had better outfits. What? Dressing for success is half the battle won!

Keep this t shirt on if: You’re all for girl power. Go Powerpuff!

Forget about it if: You thought that ‘Meet The Spartans’ was an unforgivable blasphemy

Hello Guys, This sub is inspired by one of the Mexican Revolution's most famous songs, "La Adelita." La Adelita became the archetype of a female fighter during the Revolution. An Adelita was a woman soldier who not only cooked good enchiladas and tended to the wounded, but also fought in battles. In time the word adelita was used to describe all the soldaderas who became a vital force in the revolutionary war efforts, and the term now signifies a woman of courage and/or strength. Viva la revolucion! y las enchiladas!

I love seeing Walmazan's design style where ever, and when ever it pops up. They're fun, quirky, and (as this design shows) you'd be hard pressed to find a person as passionate about their heritage as senor Walmazan.

The explanation clinches it. That plus the gold on brown is a lethal combination.
